Africa-EU Energy Partnership Status Report Update: 2016. A mid-term report on progress, achievements and future perspectives

This Status Report Update is to be launched at the AEEP’s Second Stakeholder Forum in 2016. It is hoped that its data and analysis will help the AEEP’s diverse community of stakeholders – who include governments, public institutions, civil society, academia and business – to take stock of progress to date and develop policy for Africa and Europe to move ahead.

The Africa-EU Energy Partnership Success Stories

This booklet showcases best practices and success stories of the AEEP; covering the five complementary working modalities the AEEP’s work is structured along, namely partnership processes and governance, policy dialogue and stakeholder engagement, monitoring progress of the AEEP 2020 targets, thematic work streams and capacity development for African counterparts.

Status Report Africa-EU Energy Partnership. Progress, achievements and future perspectives

The AEEP provides a framework for dialogue and co-operation between Africa and the EU on energy issues, with the objective to improve access to energy services on both continents and meeting a series of targets by 2020. Those targets are shown in the report, which describe the efforts to set benchmarks and monitor progress, and the directions for continued action.

AEEP HLM Bulletin. A Summary Report of the Second High-Level Meeting of the Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) – “Taking the Next Step: Africa and the EU are tackling energy challenges together”

The Second High-Level Meeting of the AEEP was attended by over 450 participants from African and Europe who gathered to review progress in implementing the AEEP 2020 Targets and discuss how to shape future Africa-EU relations in the energy sector. This report summarizes the outcomes and gives an overview of initiatives and programmes regarding Africa-EU collaboration on energy issues.

AEEP Stakeholder Forum Bulletin

The bulletin is giving a summary of the first stakeholder forum of the Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP), as well as an overview of important recent initiatives and programmes in the framework of Africa-EU collaboration on energy issues, as well as some related international developments.
